Synopsis

VIRGIL CLARK (35) wants more. So he moves his stay-at-home wife JILL (35) and daughter CHELSEA (9) to Scottsdale, Arizona, in search of a better life than the one they had in Grand Rapids, Michigan. And with this move comes a taste of the high life: beautiful desert landscapes with sunset hues, luscious golf greens, a higher paying job opportunity for Virgil, and a bona fide chance at the upper class.

Virgil’s first day at the office cuts him down to size. The stakes are high at the boutique brokerage firm. Although he was a star at the Grand Rapids branch, he wouldn’t even make the top 20 list here. A brief encounter with the firm’s handsome and charismatic top dog JOHN BENNETT (40) confirms this. Lucky for Virgil, John takes a liking to him. But John takes even more of a liking to a photo of Jill on Virgil’s desk.

What Virgil and Jill do not know is that a hush-hush swinger clique lies deep within the affluent Scottsdale community, with John Bennett and his vixen wife KATIE (34) reigning as King and Queen.

Virgil and Jill are invited to a dinner party at the Bennett’s palatial estate. While Jill’s busy making a surprisingly organic connection with Katie, Virgil takes an unguided tour of the Bennett home. From an ajar door down the hall, he makes a shocking discovery: the married couples in his new town are living double lives filled with debauchery.

Now that his new social circle considers this risqué behavior normal, Virgil has the chance to convince Jill to try something new: open up their marriage with group sex, and by doing so, bring his most private desires public. This turning point launches Jill’s journey towards sexual freedom, and Virgil’s descent into humiliation. And it seems this is just what John – his new "friend" – had in mind all along.

It is now up to Virgil to save his marriage and family. And he's forced to choose between all he’s gained, or going back to the life he had in Grand Rapids.

But it may already be too late...
